Animals and economics of the Schoharie Sunshine Fair COBLESKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Schoharie County Sunshine Fair is approaching its 150th anniversary. Despite a rainy opening day, officials say turn out was good for day two on Wednesday.  There were sheep, goat, roosters and everything in between. “The favorite attraction I believe is the Agriculture and animals. not many people are able to have a hands-on experience to touch a sheep a cow a chicken a rabbit and our exhibitors go out of their way to educate the public” said fair VP Lois Goblet. Rain delays national pickleball tournament at Forest Park ST. LOUIS – Our soggy weather served up some problems for a national pickleball tournament in Forest Park.Danny Jensen used to play soccer, but these days he’s traveling the circuit as a professional pickleball player.“Footwork carries over, and reading the game, and making pretty quick decisions,” Jensen said. “I think the hardest part for me is getting the ground strokes in to compete with the tennis guys. But everything else is: if you’re a competitor, then pickle is a sport for you.”These players compete 25 to 30 weeks out of the year, and are taking over the Dwight Davis Tennis Center through Sunday. Teens seen on video attacking Walgreens employee in Independence, Missouri INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Independence police are looking for two teenagers after a reported attack at a Walgreens store.Police said it happened off 39th Street and Noland Road last week.A video shows one of the teens punching a Walgreen’s employee several times outside of the store.The woman in her 60s fell, hitting her head on the concrete, while one of the teens is yelling in the background. Suspect wanted in homicide in custody after 2 KC-area police chases “I was shocked to see something like that,” Independence police spokesman Jack Taylor said.Taylor said the quick video shows the end of the altercation."It’s kind of disturbing to watch,” Taylor said.According to a police report, it all started when the two teens were in Walgreens with another teen and adult. Felony charges filed in Antioch sideshow crash that injured two OAKLAND — An Antioch man has been charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor for allegedly crashing into two people during a recent sideshow, authorities said.The 21-year-old suspect is being held in lieu of $191,000 bail, court records show. He has been charged with two felony reckless driving counts, a felony count of committing a hit and run, and a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.The Contra Costa District Attorney’s office announced the charges Wednesday in a news rleease.The crash took place during an early morning sideshow at the Martina Plaza in Antioch. At a little before 3 a.m. on Aug. 6, the man allegedly crashed into another car at West 9th and G streets. The map is a result of a partnership between the Hope and Heal Fund and Romo GIS Enterprise. Four indicted for East Palo Alto park gun battle The map gives a detailed examination of the more than 12,800 gun homicides in California at a micro level, down to which street the shootings took place on. This is the first time that Californians can see this many details about shootings across the state. The data is grouped together in clusters to represent the density of gun homicides in a particular county or area. The largest clusters in California are in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Greater Los Angeles Area. Suspect charged in connection with Antioch sideshow (KRON) -- A man suspected of being involved in an Antioch sideshow early Sunday morning was charged with a four-count complaint, the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office announced.
